ABSTRACT: Exploring the effects of early childhood education on family planning practices is essential for understanding its broader societal impact. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education influences family planning decisions among parents. The objectives were to (1) assess changes in parents' knowledge about family planning, (2) evaluate the role of educational programs in shaping family planning practices, and (3) examine the impact on family size and spacing. A survey design was employed to gather detailed data from participants. A purposive sample of 100 parents with children aged 3-6 years, attending early childhood education centers, was selected from an education center in Kaduna State. Findings indicated significant improvements in parents' knowledge about family planning, positive changes in family planning practices, and more informed decisions regarding family size and spacing. The study recommended integrating family planning education into parent-teacher meetings and providing resources to support informed family planning decisions.
